Coming of age in the melting pot of the Melbourne / Naarm music scene, Erica Tucceri brings a distinctive infectious energy to her work. An improvising flutist, composer and producer who sits at the cutting edge of the scene, she has been hailed as “Impressive” (Beat Magazine), and is one of Melbourne’s most sought-after collaborators. 
 
Bending her signature sound across genres, her collaborations (Surprise Chef, Alexander Flood, ZFEX, Don Glori, Jitwam, Teymori, Close Counters, WVR BVBY + more) have been garnering worldwide airplay and praise from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Benji B, and Motor City Drum Ensemble. 
 
You may not know her name yet, but that is about to change. Recently named the Melbourne International Jazz Festival's Take Note leader, Erica is finally stepping out as a solo artist. She has been commissioned by the festival to create a new large scale work, which will premiere with a headline performance at the MIJF in October 2024. She will be rounding out the year on tour through Europe and the UK with Alexander Flood.
