A B O U T

A proud exponent of the vibrant melting pot that is the Melbourne/Naarm jazz crossover scene, flautist, producer and composer Erica Tucceri has cut her teeth as one of the city's most sought-after collaborators. Hailed as "Impressive" (Beat Magazine), Tucceri can be heard across releases from scene favourites including Surprise Chef, ZFEX, Don Glori and Alexander Flood. 

Her debut single "Iliamna" (La Sape Records, 2023) was an intimate and hypnotic nod to spiritual jazz, championed by Bandcamp Weekly and Benji B on BBC Radio 1.

Stepping out publicly as a band leader with a sold-out headline performance at the 2024 Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Tucceri’s commissioned performance saw her composing, conducting and performing an original ten-part suite of music for ten piece ensemble with strings. 

Following this triumphant debut, Erica toured the UK and EU with her quartet in 2025, with notable performances as a bandleader at the EFG London Jazz Festival (UK), the iconic Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club (UK), 38Riv (FR), and Le Salon des Indépendants (FR). 

Newly based in London and signed to UK label DeepMatter, Tucceri’s upcoming single “Hey, Bear!” is due for release on May 27 and foreshadows her evolution as a band leader, with her debut long form release to come. Stay tuned.
